| Abstract: | The paper describes current trends in library collection building processes. In line with these trends, while introducing the library consortium principles, it presents an outline of various library consortia presently in operation in India. Describing the formation of the IIM Library Consortium, it outlines the approach, establishment and present status of a latest consortium effort (ERIMS) for e-resource development at Indian Management Schools, under the INDEST Consortium of the MHRD (GOI). |
