In a cement plant, controlling the rotary klin is a very difficult task. The most advanced method to control the highly complex and nolinear behavior of the kiln, is fuzzy logic. On the other hand, PID controllers are used in most of the industries due to its functional and structural simplicity. This paper presents a method of controlling the rotary cement kiln by the combined action of the both fuzzy and PID controllers.

In this paper a novel hybrid evolutionary algorithm (HEA) method is used to find optimal feedback gains for inverse dynamics controllers. It is shown that HEA efficiently finds the optimal feedback gains to improve the performances of inverse dynamics controllers for end-effector tracking control in highly complex, nonlinear, co-operating manipulator systems for both fixed-base and free-floating, multi-arm, space manipulator systems under zero gravity.

In this paper attention is directed to the systematic development of possible structure of nonlinear multivariable system for the prediction of self-oscilations and signal stabilization. The generalization of the technique along with the application of Neural Network provides explicit and novel insight into the problem of greater complexity. The technique so developed has been illustrated through example and its accuracy has been substaintiated comparing with the result from digital simulation.
