dc.description.abstract This paper aims to focus on the agricultural development in India giving special emphasis to the grievences of the Indian farmers.This paper tries to compare and contrast two institutional arrangements namely, Anand pattern of cooperatives and e-choupal that have received wide attention for the benefits they claim to have passed on to the small farmers.The study would be helpful for policy makers to take appropriate initiatives. en_US
