Short-term electric load forecasting using fuzzy neural networks

Abstract

Short term load forecasting for energy conservation is an ideal choice to keep load curve flat. In this paper, a novel neuro-fuzzy expert system for the initialization of connections and link weights of the neural network. Then, a kalman filter algorithm is used for the weight updation of the network.
