dc.description.abstract |
The paper examines the case of indusrial sickness in New Rajpur Mills, which resulted in industry unemployment and an adverse impact on the lives of workers. It reveals the initial response of the workers to be closeure, the financial hardships and other physical and mental problems faced by them, and coping strategies adopted. The paper finds that more than two thirds of workers had yet not recovered from their economic, social and job related problems. |
