dc.description.abstract This paper presents the results of a case study of an energy plantation on arid wastelands carries out by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) in Lathedi Village in Kachchh District of Gujarat stat in India. The case study reveals that the model of energy plantations on wastelands in the Kachchh region is technically and economically viable and can be relicated in other parts of India and elsewhere. en_US
