dc.description.abstract |
The first part of the paper deals with the peculiarities of the marine industry, with special reference to the traditional fishing practiced in different regions. For analyzing the firm’s competitive advantage, - At least half a dozen visits to the firms were undertaken - detailed interviews extending to over two hours were arranged with the management of the two firms, - the details regarding the firms were collected for analysis - all secondary materials provided by the firms were analysed -the results of the interviews and secondary materials have been analysed using Porter’s Five forces theory. |
